Community activities support – Sileby

Self-employed position. Permanent

Preferred days/times:
Tuesdays to support the client attend yoga classes. Other hours to be used flexibly and as agreed with the PA. 2-3 days per week is the likely expected schedule.

Tasks/duties:
Community activities such as shopping, exercise class, and social activities
Monitoring mental health
The PA will be required to have a full, clean UK driving licence and use of a vehicle. The client will pay fuel costs

Client main diagnosis:
Paranoid schizophrenia – The client is at risk of MH deterioration if they become isolated

Challenging Behaviours:
The client can become suspicious and have delusional thinking if their mental health deteriorates. They are supported by an Assertive Outreach team who will liaise with the PA to monitor and maintain the client’s wellness

Communication:
There are no communication barriers

Client enjoys:
Yoga classes on a Tuesday morning, going shopping, and out for a coffee.
