Community engagement support for young individual with Cerebral Palsy and anxieties
Preferred days/times:
6 hours per week in total split in two
Times and days to be discussed.
(However, not Tuesdays)
Tasks/duties:
The client will need supporting with visiting the community, using a urine bottle if needed.
Client main diagnosis:
Cerebral Palsy and Generalised anxieties
Communication:
No problems with communicating his needs
Moving and Handling:
The client uses an electric wheelchair for mobilising in the community, but you will not need to support with any moving and handling needs.
No moving and handling will be required for this role.
Client enjoys:
Going into town, shopping, and for coffee, visiting record stores.
Pets:
There are dogs at the property, however, will be in a different room where needed.
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive.
DBS paid for by funding authority, (if you don’t already have a certificate).
Role subject to interview and references.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
