Dog-lover requires support in the community – East Goscote

Preferred days/times:
4 hours on a Tuesday

Tasks/duties:
To escort the client into the community to play Pool or Snooker, and to take to cafes and to discuss their interests such as cars and dogs.

PA to have a full, clean UK driving licence and their own vehicle

Client main diagnosis:
Early onset Dementia – requires prompting to eat and drink and orientate to where they are. Some memory loss and repetitive talking

Communication:
There are no communication barriers

Client enjoys:
They are passionate about sports, cars and dogs. They especially love larger dogs such as Alsatians. They enjoy regularly playing Pool and Snooker

This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and friendly, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs
