PA for Support with Social Activities – Thorpe Astley

PA required to support individual with building confidence and accessing the community
Preferred days/times: Support to be provided in a 4-hour block. This will be on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, but day and time to be confirmed on interview
Tasks/duties: To support the individual to access the community, find and attend activities of interest. To help build confidence in getting out and about. Due to this individual’s colitis diagnosis, they will require support to make healthy food choices when out in the community and support to ensure the places that are visited have adequate toileting facilities.
Client main diagnosis: Learning difficulty, hypomobility, Dyspraxia, Asthma and Colitis.
Communication: No needs
Moving and Handling: No needs
Client enjoys: Being out in the community and going to places such as bowling, arcades, cinema, and miniature golf. They also enjoy going to the gym.
