Personal care assistant for 1:1 care in Thurnby (LE7)
I’m a friendly woman in my early 40s with a spinal cord injury (tetraplegia), living with my husband and our young child. Life is busy, fun, and never the same two days in a row — and I’m looking for a reliable Personal Assistant to join our team of 5 team and help me keep up with it all!
What the role involves:
• Assisting with personal care
• Supporting me with day-to-day tasks, shopping and household bits
• Getting involved in social activities
• Helping me maintain independence while I study and work part-time from home
Current shifts I have available are day shift (0730-1700) and evening shifts (1700-2200). These hours can be slightly flexible and would depend on preference of the PA

Hours per week – 20-30 depending on shift combination preference
Hourly rate – Employed rate £13.70-14.33 per hour
Area – Blaby, Oadby and Wigston, Market Harborough
Driving licence required – Yes

Required care experience – moving and handling (such as hoisting and/or help to transfer), personal care (such as washing, dressing and/or toileting), physical disability
