Support required for daily routine and social engagement – PH685143
PA required to support with all aspects of my daily life, including support with getting to local mental health groups, as well as the possibility of attending a swim session once a week, health permitting. The employer lives in Enderby.
Days/times flexible, to be discussed at interview.
Duties;
Personal care - washing hair, assisting with bath or shower.
Household chores - Assistance required to clean bathroom, hoovering, cleaning kitchen, mopping floors, changing beds, assisting with laundry loading/unloading washing machine/dryer, hanging washing up and putting away when dry, loading/unloading dishwasher and washing up some items, general tidying up around the house.
Support with nutrition - I have strict dietary requirements due to Chron's disease and Coeliac disease, I have to make everything from scratch and weigh all ingredients, assist with preparing fresh vegetables and other ingredients, assist with cooking.
Medication - prompts needed as I have poor memory, please make sure that I have taken my medication when you arrive and before you leave, assistance needed with ordering medication from pharmacy and making sure that I never run out.
Other - feed my dog if I am unable to, give fresh water, let dog out to the toilet.
Main diagnosis;
Behcet's disease, fibromyalgia, Chron's disease, Coeliac disease, depression, anxiety, OCD.
Communication;
I communicate verbally in English.
Moving and handling;
I have reduced mobility due to chronic pain and weakness all over my body. I use walking frames in the house and a mobility scooter and walking sticks in the community.
What do you enjoy doing;
I like to do arts and crafts and gardening.
Any applicant must have a full/clean driving license.
