Support required with all aspects of daily living for a non-mobile lady. – LM649213

Support required with all aspects of daily living for a non -mobile lady who has an interest in watching television and visiting friends

Preferred days/times:
20 hours per week in total split in two
Times and days to be discussed, however support is required predominately on Wednesdays and Saturday Mornings

Tasks/duties:
The client will need supporting with all aspects of daily living

Client main diagnosis:
The Client experienced a brain haemorrhage resulting in a significant stroke in May 2018,
This has impacted her balance and co-ordination. She tires easily and has reduced cognition, displaying poor awareness of risk and limited understanding of her reduced ability.

Communication:
No problems with communicating her needs, although can lose concentration and requires support to express her views and opinions.

Moving and Handling:
The client has a ceiling track hoist in place for transfers, a hoist assessment has concluded that this can be completed by one person.
Experience and confidence with using hoists is mandatory for this role, however training can be provided.

Client enjoys:
Getting out, visiting friends and watching television

Pets:
No Pets at the property

This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive.

DBS paid for by funding authority, (if you don’t already have a certificate).
Role subject to interview and references.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
