PA tasks: Support to access the community, access clients’ places of interests.
PA will be required to drive the client’s large mobility vehicle, so must be a confident driver, but client is willing to offer trial drives until comfortable to drive him to places of interest. A full clean driving licence required.
4 hours per week, 2 hours across two days. Flexible around days and times.
Client interests/hobbies: Enjoys playing music, he plays the piano & guitar. Client really enjoys accessing the community.
Clients’ relevant diagnosis: Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - extremely unstable and painful joints and fatigue.
PA required to work on a 1:1 basis. Assist to maximise access to community social and recreational activities.
Previous care experience desired but not essential. This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs. You may be a good fit if you are looking to get back into work after caring for a relative or friend.
