A young individual living in Market Harborough requires support with her daily routine.

Support is required for personal care, social activities, attending appointments, correspondence, medication support, shopping and domestic support. She is looking for at least 2 PA’s to be able to cover annual leave.
Preferred days/times:
Daily support, personal care - 30 mins in the morning for personal care and 30 mins in the evening.
6 hours a week social support, attending church/appointments etc.
2 hours a week supporting with taking shopping.
10.5 hours a week for nutritional and medication support.
7 hours a week domestic support and correspondence etc.
The breakdown can be discussed at interview; however, personal care, meal preparation in the morning, lunch and evening is required on a daily basis.
Tasks/duties:
The Personal Assistant will need to have completed EpiPen training or willing to be trained, due to the client's high exposure to allergies. Any new medications need to be documented clearly in the family diary. The client is on a new injected medication, some support maybe required at times.
Main diagnosis:
Functional Neurology Disorder (FND)
History of strokes, affecting speech, and weakened right side.
Oropharyngeal dysphagia
Obstructive Sleep Apnoea requiring C-PAP Machine
Scoliosis of spine, nerve damage and spinal damage, which causes chronic pain.
Type 2 diabetes
Mixed Anxiety and Depressive Disorder
Neuropathy in feet.
Hyperthyroidism/Thyrotoxicosis
Migraines
PTSD
Communication:
No difficulties communicating needs.
Moving and handling:
There is a high risk of falls, the client uses crutches and a wheelchair for further distances.
Hobbies/likes:
Prior to becoming unwell, the client had a strong passion for swimming, she enjoys visiting Starbucks and watching the news. The client is a Greek Cypriot Orthodox Christian, and she has expressed how much she misses being part of your religious community.
Any pets:
Client has a friendly dog.
Driving license is required, mileage will be paid by the client.
An enhanced DBS certificate.
