PA support for young individual in Loughborough

A young lady in Loughborough is looking for caring, energetic individuals to join her support team.
Care is required on a 24/7 basis to support this person in her own home, so a variety of shifts are available to start asap. This includes shifts in the daytime, evenings, weekend and overnight (sleep in support) on a full or part time basis.
This role is all about enabling a young person to maximise their opportunities as they build their independence.
Experience of working with young adults with high functioning autism and related sensory issues and mental health difficulties an advantage but not essential.
We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour who is a quiet, patient listener and able to offer emotional support with a sensitivity to autism and mental health presentation.
This person also has a physical diagnosis which can have a fluctuating impact on her mobility. This results in her requiring support from a person who can be flexible in their approach, being able to provide physical support at times alongside the other duties.
This individual has a variety of interests including a love of being in the outdoors, Scouts, Karate, Climbing and Rugby.
Must be a dog lover as client has a beautiful dog, so long walks will be part of the job description. Along with supporting in social and recreational activities in the local area and to advocate on client’s behalf if necessary. To assist with household chores in a supportive manner.
Access to a vehicle and a clean/current driving license is essential. There will be occasions when you will need to be available to accompany this person to visit her family who do not live locally. This person works and often is based at home, but there may be times when they require support to get to the office.
