Social support required on a Tuesday – Newbold Verdon

Patient and reliable PA for active, family and community minded, 40 year old man.
Tuesday each week for 5 hours, 10am to 3pm.
About the Client:
The client is a young man who leads an active, community focused life. He is a keen walker and regularly volunteers at a local church, where he assists elderly community members.
He values family time and looks forward to spending weekends with his son.
He also wishes to rediscover hobbies he hasn't done for some years, such as fishing.
He thrives in a well-structured, predictable routine and is looking for a PA who is patient, exceptionally reliable, and calm under pressure.
What the Job involves:
Community and social access: Driving and accompanying the client when necessary, to his church volunteer work, local walks, fishing outings.
Healthcare support: Assisting with doctor visits, hospital appointments, and logging health information.
Official duties: Helping the client manage official paperwork, administration, and schedules.
Key Requirements:
Communication and safety: Excellent verbal communication skills is essential for this role. This ensures absolute safety regarding the client’s epilepsy management and clear communication during daily activities.
Approach and understanding: An emotionally intelligent, reassuring, and sensitive approach is required. The ideal candidate will be respectful of established daily routines.
Experience: Prior experience in mental health support or working with neurodivergent individuals is highly desirable.
Transport: The PA must have their own reliable 4-door vehicle and valid business car insurance. Due to specific safety and comfort requirements, the client must travel in the back seat of the vehicle.
