Tom’s weekends – Fenny Drayton
Tom is 29 years old, he lives in a rural setting but is only 5 miles from Hinckley and Nuneaton. He has learning difficulties associated with Downs Syndrome.
Tom isn't on a bus route and can't get out independently to enjoy recreation and interest at a weekend, so any interested PA will need access to their own vehicle with appropriate insurance.
Tom would like a male PA (potential personal care) with similar interests for 3 to 4 hours a week.
He enjoys golf, cinema, Lego building, musical theatre, pool, basket ball and company.
Tom is also into fitness and exploring new hobbies and opportunities.
His package of care is funded by Direct payments and there could be scope for additional respite hours.
